Welcome to episode 300! I couldn’t let this milestone pass without addressing something really important: what it means to be a woman in business today, and why the spaces we create matter.
There’s been a lot of noise in Australia and around the world about whether we, as women, should be able to have our own spaces - whether that’s business events, support groups, awards, or even shelters.
With conversations heating up everywhere from Parliament to social media, I wanted to bring it here to our community, because helping women succeed is why I started this podcast in the first place.
Today, I’m sharing why female-only spaces matter to me both personally and professionally.
I also touch on how changes to the law have taken away our ability to define and protect these spaces, and what that means for women in business.
