Today we will be talking about differentiation and why it's essential to attracting clients to your service-based business.

If you are in a service-based business - you're an online professional, you offer creative services like website design, social media, copywriting, and even professional services like accounting and law - you're in a crowded market because the internet means that we've got a global market.

So people can reach out to people anywhere and utilise their services. It's only going to get more crowded because more and more people realise that they don't need to work for someone else anymore.

They can work from home, work the hours they want, and for themselves. And we all know how great that freedom is when we're doing that.

So, there'll be more and more people since COVID kicked off. Many people might've succeeded in creating a great brand and a strong brand message and being clear about what they do. But now, honestly, it's not enough!

Go and look at 5 to 10 competitors on social media and see what they're posting. And you're probably going to read their posts and think you could have written that, or that's exactly what you say.

There's just so much sameness, especially when people focus on lots of 'how-to content'.

Anyone can tell someone how to do something if they know the method for it. So, I want you to think a little bit differently.
